Udon noodle stir fry

Quick and easy mid-week lunch or dinner full of flavour.


  • 400g udon noodles
  • 20ml sesame oil
  • Handful of sesame seeds
  • 1 heaped tsp of crushed ginger
  • 1 heaped tsp of crushed garlic
  • 1 red onion
  • 20ml olive oil
  • 250g mushroom
  • 1 baby marrow
  • Salt, pepper and smoked paprika to taste
  • Mixed stir fry veggies about 200g (cabbage, green peppers and carrot mix)
  • 10ml oyster sauce
  • Soya sauce to taste

Brown the sesame seeds in sesame oil and add in the garlic and ginger.

Sauté for about 2 min before adding in the onions and sauté for another 2-3 min.

Add in the baby marrow (sliced into wheels), mushrooms, spices and olive oil. Sauté until soft and add in the mixed stir fry veggies and oyster sauce.







Once the veggies are soft to your liking, add in the udon noodles, soya sauce and more pepper and paprika after taste.

As soon as the noodles are mixed in and fried for about 2-3 min you can remove the dish from the heat. Serve warm and enjoy.
